AJ settled herself on a small bench outside of Degrassi High. First day, and nothing to show for it other than a bruise and a broken pen. AJ rubbed the bruise on her arm from the softball in gym class. Good God could that girl throw. AJ had to get home int he next 20 minutes, and wouldn't make it if she sat there any longer, but it was the most alone time she'd gotten in forever. She closed her eyes and leaned back, being greeted by lying back down on the concrete. She stared at the darkening clouds, fearing rain.
"Dammit, it can't ran, I was planning on the weather to be nice for a stroll with Daisy" AJ mumbled as a raindrop hit her nose and slip down her face. She giggled when it tickled her cheek softly. Not being one to want an illness, AJ pulled her sweatshirt over her body and an umbrella out of her bag. That was AJ, the true mother-prepared for the worse. AJ jumped a bit as someone tapped her shoulder.
