 Just Relaxing(Manny)
« Thread Started on Apr 27, 2008, 7:37pm »

It was just after school and Alex pulled up into the parking lot of the Dot. Alex was just tired. He couldnt explain it but he just never had anytime to himself, he knew that he needed to slow down on some things but it was kinda hard for him. Alex walked up to the counter and ordered a coffee and a couple of cookies. He took his food and walked over to an empty booth since he was there alone, he sat down and started to think about what his life was turning out to be.

I don't want to be adorable. Bunnies and puppies are adorable.

"I....Need...Coffee!!!" Manny said desperately to her best friend Emma, who was standing near her locker. She had only slept about two or three hours last night, and to be perfectly honest, she simply couldn't fit any more sleep into her very tight schedule. She sighed slightly, looking at Emma, who looked very much awake. "Well, Manny...you know coffee isn't good for you, but if you really need it so bad then go ahead. I have to stay for Ms. Kwan's extra help. And I would hurry. The Dot is usually packed this time of day." Emma mused with a slight teasing smile as she patted Manny's shoulder and walked away. Manny rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit as she slammed her locker closed and walked out of the school.

Emma had been right. The place was crowded beyond capacity, and there was only one seat left open. The guy sitting in it seemed like the rebel skateboarder type. He was cute, but he wasn't really Manny's type to say the least. She took a deep breath and walked over to the boy. "Hey, I'm Manny." She said quite confidently. Manny was always very confident of herself, and of course, you really had to be in order to wear what she was wearing today.

Today, Manny was wearing an abnormally short denim mini skirt, a midnight blue thong that had little fake gems glued to it clearly visible above her skirt, and a short blue halter top that barely reached her navel. It was bold to say the least, but it was Manny's new style and many had learned to get used to it. She sighed. "This place is pretty packed, so do you mind if I sit here real quick? I'm just getting a cup of coffee, then I promise I'll leave." Manny's smile grew slightly wider with every word she spoke. Manny was the type of person who gained confidence the more she was around someone.
